Hi, I'm Matt Liapis. I've been drawing ski resort maps since 2009, and today Skimap covers 725+ resorts across the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

Every map starts with the real mountain: satellite imagery, terrain data and on-snow photos. I draw each trail, lift and individual detail where it actually is, with no warping for marketing and no resort paying to change what you see.

Skimap gets better every season because of you. When skiers send corrections, new lifts or trail changes, I fold them into the next update.

I live in the foothills of Utah's Wasatch Front. In winter I'm out on the snow checking my own maps; in summer I'm in the lab drawing new ones.
